Timber Framed Homes
All our homes are designed and built with the utmost care and Scandinavian quality. Every one is architect designed and special consideration has been given to the best use of space, in keeping with modern family living. With care for the environment as a way of life in Scandinavia, our homes all have very high levels of insulation and a choice of double glazed or more usually triple glazed windows and doors.
We offer two types of timber framed houses: timber framed panel homes, and post and beam houses. So what’s the difference?
Panel houses are constructed off site in a factory, where the façade (where required), windproof breather, insulation, vapour barrier, plasterboard and windows are pre-fitted (and sealed) to the panels, and then the whole thing is assembled on site like a giant jigsaw puzzle. This requires good access for a large delivery truck and a crane to lift the panels into place. These houses can be fully customised to your design.
Post & Beam Homes
Where access is difficult or impossible for delivery of a timber framed panel house, you can achieve a similar stunning home using a post and beam construction. Parts are all pre-machined and marked in kit form for assembly on site, enabling the use of smaller vehicles to access difficult sites. All designs are fully customisable or you can have your own bespoke design manufactured this way.
