A week ago, we reported that a development at Cleve Park in Thornbury, South Gloucestershire, which included 14 self-build plots, was likely to be given the go-ahead on the advice of the planning authorities.  Instead, at a 3 hour long council meeting on 10th March, a motion was proposed to reject the proposals, and passed with 6 of the 13 committee members voting in favour, with 1 against and 6 abstentions.
